Ps 145 15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.
16 You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing."
This is the maxim that we are required to confess on a daily basis. Gods right hand is the agent by which all things are created and recreated. If we are saved out of trouble it is because God worked it out with His right hand. This shows that Gods justice is absolutely perfect and all powerful. Our happiness is our trust in Gods movement in our lives that does not seem to be right from our view.If we are to enjoy God for giving us all things and fulfilling our desires then we must understand that those things that we lack or that are taken from us , are done for the purpose of giving us a gift that is greater or more satisfying.
This means that God does not share His giving us gifts with any man. This is why God saved us by grace. Grace is a free gift of God. God gives grace liberally. Our problem is that we have a hard time trusting that Gods grace is as good as it is. So we get our eyes on the means of faith and not on the giver of grace. If we were able to focus on God and learn how to extol Him then we would be able to rejoice in His pleasure of creating the circumstances by which He fulfills our needs. Then we could learn how to ignore the praise of men or the gifts that men give.
The Psalms teach us to extol God for His generosity. So we learn that as are praising Him the gifts that He gives seem to be more valuable and in greater number. This teaches us to always be ready to receive the greater gifts .The apostle teaches that God has given each one of us a set of gifts .But God is able to give us more gifts if we seek Him. In other words we may be good at a specific occupation but then because we are focused on God as the giver we may receive greater spiritual gifts. There is not amount of gifts that God will not give us if we seek Him.
We must understand that God is sovereign over all things and in every space. This means that He could fellowship with us because He is in us and around us and through us. So in meeting our needs God is ready at all times to give us Himself. Just think of it like this. If God who is always loving , kind , faithful, generous, long suffering and gentle draws near to us then this fellowship that we have prevents us from falling back into a pattern where we are questioning His goodness by not being focused on His giving. The Psalms teach us to extol God and magnify Him so that He is pleased to draw near to us so that we are saved from weakness and unthankfulness.
