Ps 9 3 My enemies turn back;
they stumble and perish before you.
4 For you have upheld my right and my cause;
you have sat on your throne, judging righteously.
5 You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name for ever and ever.
6 Endless ruin has overtaken the enemy,
you have uprooted their cities;
even the memory of them has perished. "

The Psalmist is teaching that we reduce our sphere of influence when we have a short sighted view of our opposition. We deny the potential of the power that dwells in us when we view our opposition in our little world. We judge the situations in our lives with simple answers when we do not understand the distance and the depth of the curse that dwells in this world. We lower God when we reduce our opposition to the powers that we can control. We create great harm and distention in this world when we conclude that the time we spend in confessing the curse of the law is of no value. We attract the disposition of blame, guilt, and fear when we spend no time dealing with our own anger in the curse.
The truth is that we are facing an enemy that we cannot control or define. We are not just people who face negative circumstances in this world and overcome them. But we are people who have meta physical needs that are met in order for us to understand the disposition of peace and tranquility, The Psalmist is praising God for overcoming all his opposition in this life according to Gods realm of opposition. He is using words that are universal. He is concluding that Gods power over the earth is displayed in His absolute power to destroy all opposition
The truth is that the context of the curse is the power that God created from before the foundation of the world. You see God ordered the existence and the success of all things by describing the reasons and the ends for which He created them. This description was His final word. God ordained that sin would enter the world in light of His work on a universal and eternal level in opposing sin by the pronouncement of the law. This is why David views the victories in time to be expressed in the new world where there is no opposition. God has made us completely new and views us as already overcoming the whole force of evil that extends to the heavenly realm. These divine powers in this spiritual battle are determining the course of this world. The curse is Gods pronouncement of death upon all opposition. They are spoken from the highest places in eternity. We have this spiritual kingdom in which we experience mysterious opposition in this world that have eternal consequences. No matter how small our troubles are ...each one rises up to the level of the power to oppose all opposition on a level that is mysterious. This is the future coming into our present struggle.
