Ps 29 1 Ascribe to the LORD , O mighty ones,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness."
Gods power is absolute. The Psalmist says ..when He speaks it is done. Man displays strength under the constraints of time and space but Gods power is exercised over the mysterious things that exist. Man exercises his strength in limited space but God exercises His strength over the entire earth. The Psalmist is teaching that Gods voice is a voice of creation. The presence of man in Gods creation is being present in God speaking the law, covenants, curses, statutes, promises and decrees. We say that man is able to create the future by pronouncing the words of God but God controls the life and death of all things by His understanding of the full knowledge of His word. When God speaks it is with the understanding of the beginning and ending of all things.
In the garden all things that were created worked together in perfect unity. But Gods curse of brought opposition into creation. Now the earth is opposed to the purposes of man. The disasters of the earth are showing the power of Gods curse. Because these disasters are on a large scale they interrupt the order that is established by mankind. Man by nature is arbitrary in the use of the law. He us made to use the law to defend himself. This is why the apostle says that man creates his own law. He is geared toward condemning his neighbor while at the same time exonerating himself. But these big disasters of Gods creation disarm mans defenses.
Because of sin man has redefined the law of God in order to rule the earth as his own god. But you see, God has contained His power over life and death in the curse of the law. Man cannot escape the order that God exercises in the use of the law. Because God created man to exercise his authority over the creation by using the law, then he is comfortable with his miss guided applications and redefinition's. So man becomes dependent upon his own defenses by the practice of redefining Gods law. This is why Gods control over big disasters of nature causes the natural man to abandon his confidence in his schemes.
The author of Hebrews teaches that 11 3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible." He is teaching that Gods eternal word that is the pronounced cause of all things is mysterious. The law, covenants, curses, commands, decrees etc given to Gods people contain the entire order of creation. We are contained in the mysterious pronouncement that God has revealed in the bible..... in the sense that the word addresses those events that have impacted our lives that are beyond our understanding.Even tho the pronouncements that we speak are motivated by troubles that come into our lives yet the pronouncements address the eternal purposes and deliverance from Gods view in eternal salvation. This use of speaking the pronouncements are beyond our understanding or going from mystery to mystery. This voice of creation is personally applied to our limited understanding in being defenseless by these big natural disasters.
The pronouncements are given to us in order to consume the destructive purposes of evil. We are descending into the disaster by pushing the curse beneath our feet. We are made to speak an image in order to create our product. The pronouncements teach us to reorder our words so that we can experience the mystery or being illuminated by the Spirit in our creating. As we learn to trust in recreating our lives by the pronouncements we distrust the words of man.This is why the Psalmist teaches that the disasters destroy the creations that come from mans reordering of Gods pronouncements.The pronouncements lead to the peace that is brought about when mans creation is destroyed in Gods work in the disaster. We are led to mystery that creates the rest that is beyond our understanding.10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood;
the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
11 The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace.

Ps 40 8 I desire to do your will, O my God;
your law is within my heart."
Gods elect are implanted with new desires through salvation These desires rise up in the elect according to the law of God. When God created all things, the order and symmetry of the creation was the visible display of the success of the desires of God. Gods creation brought about the establishment of His perfect kingdom. Through Christ work then, this kingdom is reestablished in Gods elect.
The desire to do Gods will is united with the human desire for success in this life. The corruption of all things enslaves man to desire the destruction of the creation. Man is unable to desire the good that complies with Gods law and pleases God. Man must be implanted with the perfect law of God in order to reestablish the unity of the soul. The implanted law of God reestablishes the original identity of man as his own sovereign. Gods law reorders all reality by establishing in man the circumstances of Gods perfect kingdom. Gods perfect word that is pronounced by Gods people are the kingdom desires that cannot be thwarted.
The positive and negative desires of the corrupted man are contained in the pronouncements of the law, covenants, curses, decrees, statutes and promises.In salvation the human desires are united with the new desires. But the human desires can only be successful by being consumed in the new desires. The human desires of food, relationships, personal safety and stability are made successful as they are consumed in the pronouncement of creative law of God who reorders the corrupted circumstances. Man is unable to will what is good without the pronouncements consuming the corrupted desire. The ability in man to do good is only accomplished in the containment of Gods perfect pronouncements of the blessing and cursing.
The Psalmist teaches this in pronouncing the desires of God as the expression of his own success.40 14 May all who seek to take my life be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.
15 May those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!"
be appalled at their own shame.
16 But may all who seek you
rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who love your salvation always say,
"The LORD be exalted!" The pronouncements of blessing and cursing are the legal justification in overcoming all opposition. The pronouncements are the mirror of Gods sworn testimony as Gods elect unite their desires with God to accomplish His covenant promises to His own hurt.
Gods elect overcome all opposition by pronouncing the blessing and the cursing upon all opposition that resulted from the fall. This implanted law of God is the gift to Gods elect to use as a weapon in overcoming destruction. The context of the trials that we face as Gods people are only good when we pronounce the curses in order to push them down beneath our feet. Trials originate from the fall. They are destructive in themselves. God pronounced death to corruption in order to establish the success of blessing. All corruption is brought under the power of Gods curses. The reality of human ability is in the pronouncements of the blessing and cursing. Gods order in renewal has been established in the legal justification of His covenant. The pronouncement of His law unites our new desires with Gods in order to promote the purpose of the law , which is given for the defense of Gods people.
Ezekiel 20 25 I also gave them over to statutes that were not good and laws they could not live by; 26 I let them become defiled through their gifts-the sacrifice of every firstborn -that I might fill them with horror so they would know that I am the LORD .'
God spoke all things into existence by the word of His mouth. God ordered the creation of all things for His own glory and their own good. We are taught that God gave life to all things by the breath of His mouth. This original creation was proof that Gods purpose in ordering all things would end in the blessing of man. God created all things according to His law, covenants, curses, statutes , promises and decrees.
God gave us the laws, covenants, curses etc in order to establish His ways. These words of God are given for our good in order to walk in the way of blessing. Gods word cannot be divided. We must be familiar with every word of God. The words of God are eternal and holistic. One word is the spirit of all the words. The bible contains all the words of God. We must swear to uphold these words in the context of Gods laws, covenants, curses etc. This is why the Psalms which is the OT worship book is given in pronouncements of Gods law,covenants ,curses etc in order to constrain Gods people by preventing them from being cursed in breaking the boundaries of Gods pronouncements. Because Gods pronouncements are more than individual mandates. They are the given in order keep Gods elect from walking in the way of destruction. The pronouncements provide the perfect image of the God Man who would come to bless His people. The pronouncements are more than an exhortation to walk in the way of blessing. They create the ability in Gods people by providing security in destroying destruction through the curses and establishing Gods statutes as they are given in the forms that brings unity to the soul.
God provides the foundation of security by constraining His people. We say that Gods statutes are the secure foundation of Gods people. God has given the law, covenants etc in pronouncements in order to create the desires in his people to focus on His word in order to live by illumination. We are completely dependent upon God. We must seek Him through His word. We must depend upon the Spirits illumination of that word in order to avoid the ways of idol worshipers. In constant mediation we pronounce the law, covenants etc in order to walk in the ways of God. We must learn to enjoy Gods works by feeding on His word. The ways of God are too wonderful or more destructive than we could imagine. Everything that we are or have are given to us for our good.
The entire creation is a work of God in order to show the goodness and glory of God. The temptations that we face are not overbearing because of the good things that we enjoy. The temptations come from our inability to control these good things. Evil is not present in order to tempt us to be afraid of all of the things we enjoy. Evil is the presence of destruction and death. This is why God cursed all of the good things He created in creation. Because the only way that the good things could be enjoyed was through renewal. In other words when we become addicted to the good things that God has gifted to us in creation we are saying that they are evil.The only way to get control over these good things is through dying to using them in a destructive way. We must curse the destructive way. Every evil no matter how small must be destroyed by the curses.
God has given us the ability to be identified with the wicked as we are consumed in speaking the curses. We say that if you want to know how to overcome enemy you must study his ways. We are creatures that live by identity. We cannot know evil in a personal way unless we are familiar with it. So it is not evil to know it if we overcome it. We can know and identify with evil by the extreme words of the curse as we overcome it in destroying it in the curse. So God ways of blessing are the holistic use of creating success by the pronouncements.

Ps 61 2 From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I. "
The Psalmist is teaching that when we are saved we are gifted with eternal desires. He says that these desires are seated in the deepest recesses of our souls. The Apostle prays that our understanding may be enlighten in order for us to know the greatness of our salvation. We might think desire is emotional but it is the vision that we have when we teach our imagination to long for something that is too wonderful for us to image. We are made by God to create the forms of the objects as they are.
When God created the world, He simply spoke it into existence. So God pronounced the reality in the perfect symmetry and unity of all things. This is why the Apostle says there is no Jew or Greek, barbarian or Scythian etc. Because all things are made to work in the order of Gods design. If anything is in itself is a creation of its on value , then it introduces a form of destruction. The entire culture of free expression of Gods creatures as a true form of that freedom is contained in the pronouncements. The pronouncements are the only perfect spoken language that are revealed. We are saying that God has made man a creature that is ruled by language. Man is able to create forms by the spoken word. The pronouncements themselves contain the perfect forms of reality. This is why the apostle says that we long for something that we do not understand.
When God created all things from nothing, it was a display of His perfect law, covenants, curses etc. We say that the spoken words of the Eternal Being created by the pronouncements are the display of His perfect unity and symmetry. God has made man to rule the earth through desiring willing and acting according to the law, covenants , curses etc. Man was given the ability to overcome all opposition in the fall through the perfect word of God. Anytime man experiences tension or frustration it is because he has opposition. Opposition is the lack of ability in him to envision the true forms of all things. So we can say that the desire for salvation is the same desire to overcome all opposition. This is why the Apostle prays that the peace of God that transcends all understanding may be known. In other words self denial is experiencing opposition as the law is applied in the curse. It is suffering opposition as we push the curse down. We must be contained in the culture of the pronouncements in order to experience the mystery of the true forms of all things.
We are going from one mystery to another as we pronounce the law, covenants etc that teach us desires that come up from the depths of our souls.Our corrupt forms of desire, will and action are contained in the mysterious forms of the pronouncements.We find that line of blessing and cursing...the the mysterious forms of reality where there is no opposition. We experience unity of being. "Lead me to the rock that is higher than I."
Ps 110 4 The LORD has sworn
and will not change his mind:
"You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek."
This Psalm is focusing on the eternal King who rules all nations by the pronouncements of the law, covenants, curses, statutes, decrees and promises. This king who is also a priest is not appointed in the succession of earthly priest. Because the Psalmist introduces Melchizedek as the priest with no beginning or ending, he is teaching that the eternal pronouncements are set apart from the words that are spoken by earthly kings and priest. The pronouncements are God speaking all things into existence from nothing. The law with its ceremonies had no authority to bring about the circumstances of the kingdom.
This King and Priest rules the nations through life and death. He is teaching Gods blessing and cursing that where pronounced from the temple on the mountain of Jerusalem are a metaphor for Gods control over the wills of all men. This Melchizedek rules the wills of men through pronouncements.
The Psalmist is teaching that Gods desires are expressed in the law, covenants etc. These eternal desires that determine the beginning of time to the end that are spoken in the law , covenants ,curses etc are revealed for David and the priest in order to create the justice and authority to rule all the nations. They are the sworn testimonies of God Most High who is the commander of the armies of Israel. So just as Gods law was set apart as the eternal law so to the entire earthly priesthood was acted upon by the eternal government of Melchizedek.
Gen 14 18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem  brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, 19 and he blessed Abram, saying,
"Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
Creator F69 of heaven and earth.
20 And blessed be F70 God Most High,
who delivered your enemies into your hand."

Ps 27 9 Do not hide your face from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;
you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me,
O God my Savior.
The Psalmist is teaching that we are related to God by the creation covenant. God has created every thing and orders all things in order to save His elect. The only anger that God displays is towards those who are not part of His kingdom.God has adopted us into His family with the security of a Father who orders all things for our good and His glory. Gods anger is display in the cursing of the wicked.
In Psalm 4 he is teaching Gods elect how to deal with their anger. Our anger is like Gods anger. Just as God created and orders all things for our good so we too react with anger when the wicked redefine Gods law and make idols out of Gods creation. They over turn the purpose of God giving us pleasure in ruling over the created things making them evil by re-imaging these created things so that they put people in bondage.
You see when man sinned God curse the creation. The curse spoke law eternal condemnation law breakers. The curse was the instrument by which God showed His eternal anger. God killed the opposition to His kingdom by cursing the creation. The only hope of reestablishing the relationship with God was through slaughter and death. God gave His elect a sacrifice as an instrument to avenge the wicked who resurrect the power of death by giving powers to the created things to show anger toward God and His children.
In your anger slaughter the sacrifice. We must use the law to silence the opposition. We cannot build a pragmatic system of threats and violence. Because vengeance belongs to God alone!
The Psalmist deals with anger by cursing the wicked. Without the curse we are all in danger of destroying the entire human race. Everything that we have is given to us by God according to His own goodness. So the Psalm complains about his troubles in the context of Gods Fatherly care as the entire creation is Gods house. He is saying that Gods anger is the display of His law that is evidenced in the order of creation and the protect of His elect in working the order for their good. You see Gods law is not an instrument of measuring powers.Gods law is perfect and absolutely just at all times. It is the instrument of cursing and blessing. When we face trials in this life it is because we are surrounding by the creation in which Gods curse is present in the work of the law. So the Psalmist is always complaining to God when he is facing the destructive force of the curse as the consequences of the law as the instrument to judge the world. .

Ps 69 6 May those who hope in you not be disgraced because of me, O Lord, the LORD Almighty; may those who seek you not be put to shame because of me, O God of Israel. "
The Psalmist teaches that the desires of the righteous are given to them in salvation. The new desires are reflexive. He says ..My heart says, Seek His face, Your face Lord I will seek. We must understand that these gifted desires are Gods attributes of creation. God spoke and it came to be. These gifts are Gods implanted law. When we were in a hostile relationship with God having been born in sin, the law was an accuser. We must understand that all of Gods attributes describe the kind of work that He accomplished in creation. So all the reality of the work of creation is a description of the standard of the law. The law then includes the curses, covenants, statutes, decrees, promises, and the law given at Sinai. So the Psalmist describes the inner struggles as a result of the circumstances of life as desire, longing, seeking and meditating. The law in scripture is always the holistic work of God in governing the creation through the curses, covenants etc.
The activity of the soul of man is the visual proof of Gods order as the governor of creation. God is the only being who can view the creation as it exist. He is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient . All reality come from the words of God. Because God is omni He is the only one who knows all the details in the creation of all things. In this sense all men are created to glorify God by acting under the compulsion of Gods desires. But because of sin they are reduced to frustration of not doing what they know. This frustration is described by the Psalmist in longings.
These longings cannot be fulfilled in the wicked. But because the righteous are given the new man the longings are fulfilled. The longings of the righteous create the realignment of the soul. The soul of man is blessed when the mind, desire and action are united. The longings of the righteous are communicated in pronouncements. These pronouncements create the foundation of blessing and success. The soul is realigned through the pronouncements. The longings are trained by pronouncing the law, covenants, statutes etc.This training is described by the Psalmist as the reflexive voice. My soul says seek His face.
The longings are given to address the state of the soul in all of the experiences of life. When the elect go through trials they experience the voice of the curse. Gods elect were given the pronouncements in order to overcome all opposition. The Apostle states that God will deliver him from all opposition.
When we are saved the law is no longer our great accuser. We are filled with the fullness of God. This means that we no longer face a destructive attribute that controls us. But now we control the world through the pronouncements. The Psalmist says that the law is our friend. The law has become the instrument of advocacy that is used by the Holy Spirit to bring us blessing. May your good Spirit lead me on level ground. For your name sake, preserve my life, in your righteousness bring me out of trouble, in your unfailing love silence my enemies, destroy all of my foes , for I am your servant. So God has given both positive and negative pronouncements in order to defend the soul. We use the law, covenants, statutes, curses, decrees, and promises in all of the different experiences of life.
