So whether we have free will or not, the Bible is adamant that we do have freedom to choose; therefore, if God chooses us, we can say Yes or No. Which simply is the clear indicator that every time we sin we are resisting God's grace, whether in New Covenant relationship or not.   Choice has a cause, it really is not in between yes and no. The cause is our desire . Its either yes or no at each object. So we really do not have the same view of freedom of choice. We sin because we are sinners.
